About Me

Jaidan is a fourth-year Sport Media student at Toronto Metropolitan University, minoring in Public Relations. Passionate about all things sports and media, Jaidan is an aspiring content creator, journalist, and media professional. With a range of academic and hands-on experiences, Jaidan has built a strong foundation in podcasting, social media strategy, and live production.

Currently, Jaidan is the Producer and Host of the She Said That podcast, a lifestyle, culture, and sports show for women. This role includes managing pre and post-production, scriptwriting, guest curation, social media content creation, and brand development. Jaidan also works with Legends as part of their Premium Sales Service team and serves as Social Media Coordinator for Over The Line Sports Canada, where they create engaging sports content and manage platforms.

Other notable projects include What’s on the Inside, a 30-minute sports show focused on minorities in sports, where Jaidan was the main host, and Leave It on the Court, a basketball-centric production where they served as Assistant Director. Jaidan’s experiences extend to coaching and officiating, having worked as a Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Referee, where they fostered safe and supportive environments for young athletes.

"My personal experiences fuel my passion for breaking the silence and stigma around mental health"

Mental health is deeply important to Jaidan, shaped by personal experiences and a commitment to creating a more inclusive sports culture. Through Behind The Medal, Jaidan and their team aim to break the stigma around mental health, advocating for open dialogue and support for athletes, coaches, and specialists. By championing balance and empathy, Jaidan is committed to driving positive change within the sports community.
